Two ways for the weekend!

I thought I would post an online source for volunteering as a mentor. This site can link you up with local programs that match you with a child who needs some time from an adult. This site will provide you with many ways to reach out and help. Even if you are not in a position to be a mentor there are things you can do to support the effort! So, take a peek at Mentor, and see if there is a local program in your area or any other way you can pitch in and help!
Another wonderful organization — one that has been around for a very long time and has done a lot of great work in many communities throughout the US.
