Girls just wanna have fun!
The pirate and I did just that! We had a fun night tonight, and I am getting a small taste of what is in store for the future. After having three boys I was a little unsure of how well I would do with a girl. We are learning a lot about each other right now — and this is causing me to learn a lot about myself as well. She’s a joy. She’s a strong willed, hot tempered, busy bee, but she is mine and I am hers.
After snack time and painting our toes we took some pictures for our soldiers. We will print them off tomorrow and one set will go to Benning and the other Iraq. In the meantime here are a couple of pics of our girls night at the homefront! I thought I would post a few so that if Papa does get his laptop this weekend he will have a couple of girls (aka his fan club) to look at.
and Finally, getting ready for a long night’s rest! We are both very tired!

Thanks. We did have quite a bit of fun. She is a mix of a rough and tumble tom boy and a girly girl. I guess I am too — more so than I realized!

I LOVE the picture of the toes. Go figure!! And I don’t recall seeing a picture of you before either. Nice to put a face with the voice I hear. ;-)

BFW: You know I don’t think I have ever posted a picture of me before here. It is probably a good idea so that people will see that I really do no look like Rosie the Riveter! (not that she isn’t perfectly lovely… just a little tougher than me!)
