One more night!
We extended our time in Georgia by an extra night and day. Bryan’s leave does not end until tomorrow. Nate will lose one extra day in school tomorrow, but I felt it was very important that we have one more day together as a family. Our times together are few and far between these days, and until he is through his training I think this will be the way it goes. Even after PCSing I know his time will still be greatly taken up with training — that’s just the name of the game. So I am slowly learning how to seize the time we have and make the most of it.
Bryan and Emma both are passed out and resting, so I thought I would hop and say hello while I had a minute. We checked out of the fancy hotel we were in, and traded it for a more rustic spot and a cabin. Nate is hoping to spot a wild deer, bear or maybe a Ranger in training! I think we have a better chance of spotting a wild bear — Rangers are only seen when they want to be. If we spot any though, I promise pictures will follow.
Until then, I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday weekend. We are going to head out and hit the road early tomorrow. I have some new stories to share from Bryan’s OCS training. I hope to share that this week.

I hope you are enjoying yourselves. Actually I know you are. The rustic cabin sounds like fun.
Thanks! Yes, we are enjoying it all thoroughly! Now it’s time to put the Pirate to bed and have some quiet time! Woot!
Well dear,
The Hooah bus just pulled out heading for home. I would give anything to have you all stay or for me to go with you … but alas … my lot is here. For now. Soon enough this portion will be done and we’ll all be back together. Until then,
Love you.
Mr.Hooah
Big hugs to you!
We actually spent some time at Fort Benning this last summer, in a “rustic cabin”. Wasn’t bad at all, it was nice and quiet. We needed the time as well.
It is school, do not feel guity about missing any
SO glad you got an extra day together that is wonderful…..keep us posted on Ranger Watch 2007 he he he
Hi Mr. Hooah! Yes, I watched you for as long as I could and saw you getting smaller in the distance. It was awesome getting to see you, and I promise that we will hop in that car and be down there in a heartbeat the second you say you have the time!
Love you too - always! Your Claire
Thanks Cavmom! It was awesome to spend that time together and much needed!!
Armywife, we really loved it! We had a larger cabin and it slept all of us very comfortably. There were a few little quirks here and there, but that makes it an adventure! :)
Heather — that could be a new reality tv show! haha!! We had a great time, but we didn’t see any Rangers! ;)
