I would like to thank Mel for my most prestigious funky award. I am greatly honored to have been named an “amazing woman” (YES, you read that right!), and I happen to think that Mel is pretty darned amazing too! So, thank you Mel! I also want to take this moment to confess that when I was a young girl I used to put on a leotard, tie a long towel around my neck, and use tin foil to make a crown and bracelets so that I could be Wonder Woman!
And then today I learned that I was also nominated for the “Nice Matters Blog Award!” by CavMom, my fellow “mom-in-arms!” Thank you! I appreciate the nomination, and the pretty girly graphic. Stop by and take a peek at the other nominees — she listed many of my own favorites.
