April 15, 2008Iraqi DBE discover anti-tank mines after attack from dismounted insurgents
Multinational Division – North PAOTIKRIT, Iraq – The Iraqi Department of Border Enforcement discovered a cache of anti-tank mines after taking small arms fire from an unknown number of terrorists, April 14.
The Department of Border Enforcement soldiers returned fire in self-defense, driving the terrorists toward the Iranian border. More than 160 anti-tank mines were found after the terrorists broke contact.
The Iraqi Department of Border Enforcement in northern Iraq includes more than 8,700 agents and covers nine points of entry. The Department of Border Enforcement is responsible for patrolling the border and conducting other assigned law enforcement duties.
The Department of Border Enforcement in northern Iraq is part of the overall 150,000-person Iraqi Security Force.

160 anti-tank mines!? Let me spell that out. One hundred and sixty anti-tank mines! I’m glad this stuff was found at the border before it made it too far into the country. But this was only found by accident. What else is Iran shipping in? Does anyone doubt their desire for a holy peace now? Or the need for a “pause” before we draw down? And could I possibly fit anymore question marks into a single post?????
Egads. Back to work before the boss nails me.

All Islam wants is some peace you know. If we would all just submit to them and denounce all things that are not of Islam, give up our rights, treat women like they are dogs (or less valuable than dogs..), etc. then we would have peace with them. All they are saying is … give peace a chance.
In all seriousness I am so glad that the ordinance was found before the ordinance found our troops.

Not at all surprised, sad to say. I can only imagine the maiming and killing that those weapons would have created.

Yep. And Obama wants to “talk” to them.
Those borders must be like ours….. full of holes. At least they were able to stop this one. This time.
And we wonder why our “politicians” are even wanting to talk to them. OH wait, I said politicians. The definition of said word is this….b : a person primarily interested in political office for selfish or other narrow usually short-sighted reasons.
Maybe we should add this to it—-”double speakers”.
