UPDATE & Bump: A certain Specialist has had his Board date postponed because a certain S’gnt Major forgot and overbooked his work day. SOOOOOOO … looks like the exam will be this coming Thursday. Woot. I guess.
There is a “certain Specialist” who is being grilled interviewed by an NCO Board in order to prove he is ready for a promotion to Sargent.
For the record, I am not proud at all. Nope. I won’t brag about how he went from PFC to Spc. in less than a year. I am not going to be a boorish mother who feels the need to announce that her son went from Spc. to the NCO Board in less than a year. I am most certainly, definitely not going to lavish you with the details of what a hard working, handsome, smart, strong, ethical, up-standing, fine young man I have for a son.

Well, you may not be one of “those” moms…but I’ll still wish “the boy” all the best of luck at the board and cheer when he pins on his extra stripe well before his peers!
Oh yeah, if I could be there when he is striped I am sure I would make him blush. You would be amazed, but even all dressed up I can still let out a Southern “Yahoo!!” like you wouldn’t believe!

BUT I am the kind of friend (and mother type) who could also let out quite a Brat yell when the occasion warrants….

Jeez, what a surprise. How VERY military! Gives him a few more hours to study, but I’d bet he’s fully prepared. Hurry up and wait, but it’ll be well worth the wait! Keep us posted!

I am sure if she is not you will do it for her. LOL I am not suprised someone was overbooked. It is hard to accomplish decent time mangement skills.
