		<description>Mr. Hooah-was Sen. Adams&#039; speech the one he gave in 1836 concerning abolition of slavery in Washington, D.C.? I think he was a Congressman at that time for his district in Braintree, Massachussetts. 
I&#039;ve been looking up the Supreme Court&#039;s 1841 decision for Adams&#039; closing statements re: the Amistad slaves, but it&#039;s late and I&#039;m tired. I&#039;ll have to look it up in FindLaw tomorrow.
According to the geneaology my aunt did for entrance into the Daughters of the
American Revolution organization, I am a direct descendant of the 2 Presidents Adams, from JQA&#039;s son Charles Francis. I resemble JQA&#039;s daughter, Louise Catherine.</description>
