NYPost EditorialBritish prosecutors this week got a good look at what happens when the War on Terror gets tangled up in the civilian criminal-justice system.
It’s not a pretty picture.
The British government won a decidedly mixed verdict Monday in the trial of eight terror suspects charged with plotting to blow up trans-Atlantic commercial airliners in summer 2006.
A jury convicted only three of the eight of conspiracy to commit murder – and prosecutors failed to win any convictions on the highest terror-conspiracy charge.
Can we get anymore stupid? Why would any rational thinking person let Terrorists off the hook? This is the kind of crap that the ACLU and other far-left organizations and politicians are pushing for. Bringing enemy combatants into the court room and letting them loose.
Heck, some left wing nut cases have gone so far as to put a Marine on Trial, actually subpoenaed him, for supposed war crimes he committed in Iraq. A civilian court, that has no jurisdiction in Iraq or over military issues….trying a Marine.
I’m sick of this, it’s ridiculous. Stop supporting our enemies, support us. The Mujahdeen won’t stand guard for you, they will stand guard OVER you as you bend to their will.
Stay motivated.
