Another worthy cause

No inane rants from me, today. This is a serious post. Chuck Z over at From my position … On The Way! has this to say:

We’re Broke!
Valour-IT is completely out of money, and it’s really going to be a shitty Christmas for wounded service members waiting for laptops. And yes Virginia, there is a waiting list.

So we begin the Valour-IT veteran’s day fundraising project. Our goal is $250000, and that means each of the five branches are racing to the $50,000 finish line. Team Army, will, of course, win, because all of you WILL contribute. You will get your friends, family, and coworkers to contribute. You will get acquaintances to contribute.

Roger that, Major. Wilco.

Chuck has more to say. Clicky on his link, above, and GO TEAM ARMY!!

I sent a laptop yesterday, does that count? I’m broke too but I’ll see what I can find that doesn’t have lint on it. I hate hearing that they are out of money.

Valor-IT is on my Christmas donation list, however, I will donate early.
To all veterans and those actively serving, Thank You.

    Thank you both.

And if all you have has lint on it … send the lint. We’ll make hooah felt and auction it on ebay!
