I Beg to Differ

By Mr.Hooah!

As you might expect, I have a slightly different twist on the conservative response to an ostensible Obama win. Mine is likely the minority view among conservatives. So be it. Here it is.

Let me preface this with a link to Blue Collar Muse who expresses one of my points more articulately than I ever could. That is, He is NOT my President. He is simply A President. It should go without saying who the “He” is. The Muse lays out very good reasoning for this thinking that has nothing to do with the leftard version of “He’s not MY President” bumper sticker thinking. It has nothing to do with hate. It has much to do with two world views coming from a set of presuppositions that are diametrically opposed. My world view is informed from a set of presuppositions which precludes reconciliation to our President-Elect’s apparent world view. For a primer on just what-the-heck I’m talking about do a search on Dr. Greg Bahnsen and Presuppositionalism. Also see “the reformed protestant tradition”. There. I’ve spilled my beans. I’m an out-of-the-closet Calvinist. At least now you can hate me for who I am.

As a result of my core beliefs I most certainly will print up and use a “He’s not MY president” bumper sticker. I will also speak sneeringly of his family, friends, and associates. In my worldview they are exactly the kind of people I must speak out against. They are ungodly, unrighteous, and unrepentant. To fail to point this out is to fail to stand for the truth. These days it is considered “hate-speech” to speak about such peoples in such ways. Therefore, I will also “hate” the opposition.

Not in the way that the leftards “hate” us. After all, I am commanded to ‘love my enemy’. However, I am also commanded to ‘strive against all powers, principalities, and powers of the air’ in order to ‘tear down their strongholds’. My hate will be prosecutable in the legal sense but not visceral in the emotional sense though I will not apologize for my zeal of emotion. Do not expect me to use ‘nice’ words when speaking of those to whom I am in complete opposition to. In fact I might even use a little soldier language here and there.

For example: Martin Luther rightly named Erasmus’s arguments/words to be but silver vessels filled with sh!t. Our President-Elect’s arguments/words as well as his supporters, friends, family, and ass-ociates arguments/words lack even a silver vessel to dress them up. There are times when sh!t is just sh!t. Calling it anything else or not laughing the proponents of such into derision is more than dishonest. It can be treacherous as seen by their win and our loss.

I will also support a grass roots effort to begin impeachment of said President-Elect. I may even get a bumper sticker for that. Impeachment? Yes. After all, elect though “He” may be yet He has STILL NOT proven to the courts that He is a citizen of these United States and therefore eligible to accept the position to which He has been voted. His records have been completely shut. Sealed as it were. He has also delayed and left unanswered court proceedings demanding he provide legal proof of citizenship. In fact, there is one outstanding (as in unresolved) case in PA wherein He has failed to answer the court resulting in His legally admitting that He is, indeed, NOT an American citizen. We must not leave this point undone. Just because electoral votes have been cast it does not follow that He is eligible to receive them. Our President-Elect should be forced by court order to produce ALL his documentation. Period. There will be other reasons to impeach Him down the road. We should address those as they arise.

And NO. I will not congratulate Him on His so-called victory. Nor will I congratulate His supporters. I will not play “nice” as the world understands “nice”. They broke the Law in order to obtain this apparent victory of theirs. They didn’t have to. He would have won without it. Never the less they DID break the law and I will not congratulate lawbreakers. It only encourages more law breaking. Had they obeyed the law it would be a different story. One must show sportsman like conduct when fairly beaten. One must NOT show sportsman like conduct when unfairly cheated against.

Oh, and the Rethuglican leadership out there? Don’t think I haven’t noticed them too. Don’t think I will leave them out of this. That brood of vipers. Those spineless snakes. They who eat their own. No I haven’t forgotten them. They are responsible for their own continued losses over the last decade. It wasn’t Palin or the conservative base or even the MSM (that’s main stream media for those of you who live in Vermont) that has cost them the money, power, and glitzy parties they so desire. It was their own immorality.

The Republican leadership as well as their staff is a pack of feckless weasels. Already they speak of “rebranding” or “re-evaluating the message”. On the Fox News website, today, I found this little gem of an article, “Republicans Look for Rising Stars to Shape Party’s Future”. The article opens with this:

“The Republican Party’s doors are open to a new generation of leaders as it regroups and re-evaluates its message in the wake of Tuesday night’s crushing defeat at the polls.
But what that generation should espouse remains up for negotiation.”

This reveals a fundamental lack of understanding on the part of both the reporter and the Republican leadership. They obviously don’t know why they lost. Which is why they lost. They don’t know who they are or what they stand for. Else there would be no “negotiation”. The article furthermore reveals that they don’t want real leaders. They only want new leaders to tout whatever it is they finally decide they stand for. That’s NOT leadership. It’s marketing which is a fancy word for following. It is also amoral. As a result, I am in direct opposition to these people.

I will also speak very badly of the so-called Republican leaders whenever I get the chance. Here’s an example, a Republican pollster named Whit Ayres said in the same article cited above, “I think we have to have a bunch of smart people reflecting on these results.” Here I go: Duh!? What a ‘smart’ thing to say. Ya really think ya need some smart people Ayres? You’re partly right. ‘Cause you’re obviously not too smart as evidenced by your stupid comment. Moron. Moreover, the number of morons is evidenced by the continual party failure over the past decade. Idiots. If they had any brains or morals they wouldn’t have to figure out how to reconnect with the American people. They would know they left the American people and that’s another reason why they lost. Good riddance to bad garbage. Ditto McLame or should I call him he-who-quits-before-the-voters-finger-is-even-off-the-button.

So, He’s not MY president and they’re not MY party. I will NOT play nice. I will sneer, smear, and hate. I will fight. I am justified in doing so. Join ME. That’s right. Me. I’m a hack cartoonist Mr. Nobody who shoots off his stupid mouth irreverently and can’t come in out of the rain.

But I have an idea.

What would you think of this … an American Surge? The surge in Iraq is a good analogy. A surge would not attempt to retake the already rotting corpse of the Republican Party but would attempt to pull our conservative base and our honest leaders OUT of that party. This would expose us for who we really are. It would be both a tribal awakening in regards to making this work from the local community level but also an organizational restructuring in regards to making this work from the top down via congressmen, judges, teachers, and the New-Media. Both leadership and base would have to leave the Republican Party en masse in order to begin the American Surge. It would have to begin with our leaders who are already in congress. You can call it the Conservative Party or whatever. It would take about five to ten years of laying groundwork before it could actually take off. It would also have to be generational in some of its goals (ex: retaking the school system). It’s really sort of nebulous in my thought right now. It might be a completely hair brained idea. I don’t know. What do YOU think?

In any case … I am going to be a BAD guy for the next few years. I guess my ticket to the re-education camp is punched.

I don’t think that your view is any different than the rest of us Conservative folks. :) Great post, and yes, he is my President in the sense that he was elected for me by others — HOWEVER, he is not MY choice

It’s more than not being my choice. I go so far as to say I will not follow.

Something else I should have added: I took my oath to the constitution in its original intent. I never took an oath to the president. And I will only follow legal (as defined by the constitution and the letter of the law) orders. All other orders are a NO-GO.

Good thoughts, still you probably will have difficulty coming up with extra time for the community service. If they (you know who they are) would just remember that the President is the Highest of Public SERVANTs, not a King nor a Rock star, NOT a Messiah (position was filled no election needed). He gets to work for you, none of us work for him.
