Welcome to a unicameral America. We have one Party rule. The Republican Party has been in its coffin for a while, and an early concession is the final nail.

I am as upset as you about the outcome. I could say a lot more but I think it is even worse because you and I see what this will do to our country. We will soon see an effect in the Judicial branch too…
It is a sad day and I just want to cry and maybe sream a bit too! All we can do now is pray for America and our young men and women.

I know Aimee. That’s what makes it such a sad day. Ultimately we know wehre our strength and hope comes from, but this will cause some very rough roads ahead… we know it’s coming. :sad

Cross posted this sentiment on my blog: I see it, don’t have to like it, but will support the Presidency.
Heard a woman on my car radio yesterday, hyperventilating: “I don’t have to pay my mortgage any more, or pay my car bill anymore- because Obama is going to win!”
Yikes.
Then again, I saw Oprah hyperventilating last night as well…and I need a box of Kleenex.
Tons of rethinking for the Republican party. On the bright side: my Congresswoman won.

Yeah, people are stupid if they think that Obama will magically fix problems that can be directly linked back to Democrats and their policies! It’s like putting out a fire with gasoline. Great.
You know what really irks me to no end? People keep talking about how we (the Reps) need to care so much about “unity.” Where was this sentiment when the Dems were plastering “He’s not my President” stickers all over their cars? Yeah. What’s good for the goose, isn’t equal for the gander in their doctrine.
