Building a Strong Marriage

Building a Strong Marriage:
The statistics are out and the speculations are flying about military marriages. Recent research shows that divorce rates are on the rise in the military. Does this mean that military life contributes to divorce? There are those who would like to assert that possibility. Although military life does, most definitely, add to the stresses of family life there is a lot of research that shows that it’s not merely the outside influences that impact a marriage, but a lot of the contributing factors are what goes on under the roof of the home.

We know what contributes to divorce, but we also need to know what can make our marriage stronger. It seems the literature is mostly geared toward divorce prevention instead of marriage building. There are some people who can stay married and still have a very empty relationship, so preventing a divorce is just that.
