Christmas Music Day 2
OK, I am being shameless again. I had to post this picture of the Pirate. I took it while she was decorating the tree the day after Thanksgiving. I think she looks like an old fashioned baby, now I have to work to keep her this way!
I may just post one of my favorite Christmas Carols each day until Christmas, but then again I may not. You all know me. My intentions are good, but my life is insanely hectic these days. So, this is my second consecutive song post, and I am proud of myself for making it this far.
I do have ALL of my shopping done. Boxes in the mail that need to be, boxes wrapped, gifts done, stockings done, and now I only need to shop for the few things I will need to make Christmas dinner.
How are you all doing with Holiday preparations? What do you have left to do? Have you scaled back this year due to the economic concerns or constraints? We have for sure, but we never have been a family to over do the Holidays, so it hasn’t been too drastic at this point. I am just grateful that we can afford our home and bills. We’ll see what next year looks like when it comes, but for now I plan on spending the Holidays in peace and with my mind set on all of the incredible blessings I have to be grateful for.

English Translation to Fum, Fum, Fum:
On this joyful Christmas Day
Sing fum, fum, fum
On this joyful Christmas Day
Sing fum, fum, fum
For a blessed Babe was born
Upon this day at the break of morn
In a manger poor and lowly
Lay the Son of God most holy
Fum, Fum, Fum!
Thanks to God for holidays
Sing fum, fum, fum
Now we all our voices raise
And sing a song of grateful praise
Celebrate in song and story
All the wonders of His glory
Fum, fum, fum

Your daughter is beautiful—what a wonderful photo of her!! Feel free to be shameless anytime!! (I know I do when I post photos of my grandbaby on one of my blogs :lol )
Advent/Christmas has been pretty good thus far
*simple decorations–actually some of them were still up frrom last year!
*plans for making Nordic treats to eat,
*gifts–simple, practical. About the same as last year,
*enjoying the music, blessings and meaning of the season
AND… our snow!
Blessings, Aimee
