Happy New Year!
It’s hard to believe the New Year is here already. I feel like I was just writing my end of the year post for 2007 a week ago. The funny part of it all is – I am just as unsure as to how the military will impact our family this year as I was last. It’s been a weird battle and just when we thought the doors were shut forever we get word that they aren’t. So, we are still dancing the Army Tango.
What does 2009 hold for all of us? Recession? Deployments? A lot of living and a short time to do it all in? I think we can count on all of that and then some.
What are you all hoping for in the new Year? Any resolutions?

Well I think the Army found a door after all only we don’t have specifics or definite answers. I will believe it when I see the first LES. Until then… anything goes!

Interesting news about Bryan.
For me, 2009 holds daughter’s wedding and looks like a deployment for son. Other than that, who knows.

Jane — I bet you are a bundle of opposing feelings! I know that facing deployment is hard. Please keep me posted and let me know when his deployment is coming up (well as much as you can within OPSEC anyway). (((hugs))) Congratulations on your daughter’s upcoming wedding! What a blessed time!
