I read this at Elusively Yours this morning and instantly knew it would be mine for the New Year…
New Year Prayer for those of us over 40 (the title is mine)
God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
The good fortune to run into the ones that I do,
And the eyesight to tell the difference.
