Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges? No…
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges: When the republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. NO.
Corruptissima Congressus plurimae leges: When Congress is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. (a.k.a., Lawyers will be the death of this Republic)
That’s more like it.
Dear Oligarchic Leaders,
Oops! Thank you for clarifying that silly little uncrossed “t” in your new CPSC’s CPSIA (a.k.a., WTH FUBAR laws.)
I know that buying and selling used children’s clothing, toys and furniture at consignment sales may be a “bit beneath you,” but I appreciate that you will graciously allow me and my family to continue to do so for now. I hope that Goodwill can find someway to test all of their crap for lead though, so they don’t have throw their inventory away.
Consigning does help our budget. Not to mention it keeps us out of Walmart and keeps us off the streets.
One day when we are big can we have your permission to keep more of the money we make? No? I didn’t think so, but I had to ask.
PS: When consigning is outlawed, only outlaws will be consigning! Think about it!
Sincerely,
She who shall remain endearingly bitter

Claire could you also please ask them, in your own inimitable way, if all this upside down business can cease? Then I could stop being made to stand on my head all the time.
Crazy really IS as crazy does.

Bon I will try. You know they won’t listen to reason because, obviously, in order to have any power in this Country you have to be senseless!
Hey, at least you aren’t hanging upside down together!
