Ways I plan to fill my day today

1. Take up bio-hacking and find a cure for cancer (that is if nothing else pans out for the day).
2. Read Pat Dollard headlines all day, because he is right and funny. I need that.
3. Every time someone in public feels the need to mention the “A” word, I will curl up in the fetal position and scream “Find a happy place, find a happy place!”
4. Try and determine through photo analysis who has had more plastic surgery — Cher or Demi? This one may take a while. I heard that they were going to make a Barbie for both of them, but all the plastic they would need to use to capture their likenesses made the dolls look cheap (although I would think that would be the perfect look)
5. Check Michael Yon’s page regularly to see if he announces a lawsuit against Michael Lard Moore.
6. Every time something goes wrong today I will officially blame Obama (like the potholes I have to endure… it’s all his fault.)
7. Feel the tingle that everyone keeps talking about by sitting on my leg for a very long time.
8. Start my official food rationing program to prepare my family for the fallout of the Democrat Congress coupled with the Democrat President (and fiscally speaking we can expect more of what Bush did and then some).
9. Try and figure out how “Sid the Science Kid” acquired his acute brain damage. Actually all of his friends have some serious behavioral issues that cause me to think it is definitely mercury poisoning.) It was a good idea, but probably the poorest execution I have ever witnessed. I cringe when I hear the theme song.
10. Sit back and ride the wave of the absurdities of life, and trust in God’s sovereignty.

Claire, what a great new design!

I was in DC last week….kind of a last minute trip to get away from the whole job severance thing. Ended up attending a ball while I was there. DC came to a standstill on the 20th. Okay, I was delighted to see the excitement on the faces of those who drove in from around the country to attend the ceremony. On the other hand I was also amused by the number and variety of souvenirs on sale. Get your President Obama bottled water, tote bags and Michelle Obama tees here! Overly marketed event in my ‘umble opinion – especialy when next day, they were being sold at a discount. Didn’t think the speech was great, though. it was good, but not great. Disapponted to hear about President Bush being booed. A friend in the crowd said it echoed across the river. I watched from the warmth of a hotel lobby. Didn’t feel like getting up at 0400 to trudge to the Mall! 4 years…4 years….
