Weblog Awards 2008-Offical Winners Announced
I got this email just a little while ago. Congratulations to all of the winners of the 2008 Weblog Awards. I know I was never even a serious contender, but I sure did have a lot of fun participating and following all of the action at the Weblog Award site and Twitter.
Click on the “read more” arrow to read the winners and follow the hyperlink to leave them a congratulatory message — especially to the Military Blog winner, the most deserving Michael Yon.
Based on 933,022 votes cast in 48 categories over seven days of voting
in early January 2009, here are the winners

Hey, you were in with the big dogs of milblogging and you DIDN’T come in last … I’d say that’s pretty darn good. Makes you a winner in my book!
:wink

That and my beef stew doesn’t hurt your opinion of me! :ch

Beef stew? Where?
Never mind – you ARE a winner in my books too, even though I am not a BIG dog in the milblog community.(BratDOG, however, IS a big dog.) :ch

Beef Stew around here never lasts very long when Damon’s on the job!
And, it takes a winner to know a winner!

Ohh, beef stew sounds so warming right now as I’m freezing my hiney off… But then again, the chicken pot pie soup may make it to the dinner table tonight.
And Brat, just think, me and you with a couple of others were given the keys to Knee Deeps Authors page… IMHO, they don’t hand out any awards better than that!! So I say “we’re all winners with Knee Deep.”
I make a motion we start our own “mutual admiration society” awards… The first nomination goes to ‘Knee Deep’, followed by ‘Assoluta Tranquillita’. Anyone second that?

“I second that e-mooooooootion” (You’ll have to read my site to know why I sing that.) BUT I digress :8
I second ONLY if we can include “Little Drops…” in there too..and then all convene to share beef stew. Do you know how many YEARS it is since I have made that? And yes, KYW I totally agree with your second para there.:)
