Knee Deep in the Hooah!

Hey Damon, you’ve been ruining everybody’s lives and stealing all the bandwidth!

Some of you may have noticed that we had a server crash last night. We have had a huge bump in traffic, and it seems like many are here to stay. We love it and want to be good webmasters (well I’m the master even if Damon calls me the code monkey.)

There is some truth to the modified movie quote above. Only the first half is just gratuitous geek humor. The latter part, however, is true. Delta Bravo Sierra and Knee Deep in the Hooah! are both growing in popularity. The good news is we are growing and we both are dedicated to keeping our websites maintained, safe and easy to navigate. We are both aware that lately the sites have been loading more slowly. Delta Bravo Sierra uses a lot of bandwidth in order to “broadcast” the iframes on the various websites that have embedded the cartoon. In order to best serve all of those who have seen fit to put the daily DBS in their sidebars or headers, we have decided to do a complete overhaul of both KDiH and DBS. This will allow for fewer server crashes, a safer website, a more professional and streamlined site for both addresses, and more room for further growth as we hope to expand into custom graphics and a gift shop, for both sites, but mostly DBS.

So, please be patient with us while we upgrade. I am hoping that it will be done quickly and with no complications. I am also working on a new blog site for Christian Military Wives, and I will be sharing that new site here as they launch the new design. Good things are happening – they just always happen all at once! Have a blessed day!
