Can I hear a “Yut Yut” “Oorah!” “Devil Dog?”
Hank is in the house!
I want to introduce you all to our newest friend and guest blogger. You may remember me talking about a man I nicknamed the Arabica Hermes. This messenger of the coffee gods has agreed to do some guest blogging right here at KDH.
Hank is a happily married, retired Marine of 21-years. He is also the very proud father of three young men. He has had a foot in both the enlisted and officer ranks, and he retired as a Major.
Hank and his brother work hard to bring the civilian and military communities good coffee. They go beyond coffee and they also actively support the military community through their endeavors.
As you can imagine, a man can not spend 21-years in the Marines and not have some great stories to tell. I got to chat with Hank last night on the phone. Damon got to chat with him a couple of times before, so it was my turn. You all will love to hear Hank’s stories. He is a story teller and can draw a great picture for you with words.
Hearing the real stories of our men and women in uniform is one huge aspect of KDH. As the mother of a Veteran it is very important to me for people to have a loving appreciation of our military members. What better way than for us to hear about them, their families, their neurotic mothers, and wonderful wives and kids? This is how we come to understand the heart that beats beneath the armor.
So, please give a warm welcome to Hank. His first story should be up sometime (hopefully) today. You are in for a treat — that’s all I have to say.
Well, that and if you are still drinking that fru-fru coffee, put it down and go get some Devil Dog Brew or Sniper’s Brew!
Knee Deep now has it’s own coupon code too, thanks to Hank!
Knee Deep In The Hooah now has a referral code for Sniper’s Brew. Use: KneeDeep
If you use the coupon code KneeDeep not only will we know that you’re a fan of Knee Deep in the Hooah! but you’ll receive a 5% discount. Couple that with free shipping when you order 6 or more bags and that’s the most economically way to shop.
Hooah! Oorah!

You responded with a new email! haha! I couldn’t figure out why in the world I would have to moderate your comment! lol
Yep! We are adding another great story teller to the board.
Of course all of you great ladies still have your reserved spot and can post anytime you feel like it. I just love the fact that we have so many awesome military loving folks who want to talk about it!

Damon,
No such thing as an ex-Marine (once a Marine always a Marine). Many thanks back to you for keeping me in stiches, DBS is something even a jarhead can relate to.
Claire,
I’ve finished my first post, Hank and Bar Girls, but this jarhead’s a little slow figuring out how to post it, dang puters. Thanks for such a great introduction.
With Utmost Respect ~ Semper Fi, Hank
