Change I can believe in!

reidlosesHarry Reid has many claims to fame, indeed. One being that he was actually quoted by Al Qaeda in April 2007 by saying “The Iraqi war is hopeless and the situation in Iraq is same as it was in Vietnam.”

Reid also said “I believe … that this war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything, as is shown by the extreme violence in Iraq this week,” He said this before the last of the surge troops hit the sand. I know because it was uttered before my son’s brigade entered Baghdad. I was astounded that an American politician would stand up and declare that the Surge was accomplishing nothing before the Surge had even technically begun. Proof positive that defeat often starts in the minds of little men.

Then Reid tries to take credit for the success of the surge. He also tries to squirm out of his prior statements. Nothing like watching a crap-weasel try and deny he is a crap-weasel.

It is never too early to start. America has had enough of these defeatists in charge. If our Founding Father’s had been made of the stuff Reid, Murtha and their ilk is made from we would be anything but American and free! Who needs these losers? There are plenty of good men in this Country who are willing and able to guide Her. Give them a chance.

Reid is up for re-election in 2010! It’s time to kick him to curb. America deserves leaders who believe in Her military and who appreciates the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform.

Can we have a permanent Jackass banner for these recipients? I’m eying a pair of Wogden & Barton dueling pistols with octagonal Damascus barrels and walnut handles. This man is a disgrace.
