Clip and Quip

Cher speaks, and the world laughs.

“I just think he’s totally the right person at this time in our history,” she said. “He brings something more in his spirit than maybe another president could be even with the same intelligence. There’s something about him that brings more with his spirit, and that’s what Americans need right now. Republicans almost killed me.”

When asked to explain how Republicans somehow “killed” her, Cher was not specific.

“You know what? I have so – I try to be charitable and there are some really good Republicans, but I just don’t understand how anyone would want to be a Republican. I just can’t figure it. I don’t understand,” she said. “If you’re poor, if you’re any kind of minority – gay, black, Latino, anything. If you’re not a rich – I don’t know. If you’re not a rich born-again-Christian, I don’t get it.”

Cher told us yesterday that Republican rule almost killed her. Really? Wow. Is she a member of Al Qaeda? Perhaps the Taliban? After all, wasn’t it terrorists who were on the Republican hit list?

Poor Cher. She has had so much plastic surgery that the last face lift she had must have shifted her brain around. Well it was already an endangered organ for her anyway.

She can’t figure out why a poor person would want to be Republican because only Democrats are poor — right? Yet, the vast majority of our morally corrupt Hollywood rich, spoiled Americans are Democrats.

I can’t figure out why anyone would want to be a Democrat Cher. I mean unless you are rich, liberal, have no moral compass, don’t give a flying crap about National Security, or live in the fairy-tale, make believe world that people like you live in… I just don’t understand it.

Eh, quit your griping and go get a face lift.

    Claire,

Reminds me of the Patriots and Pinheads segment from Bill O’Reilly. Perhaps you’d consider submitting to my friends at RangerUp. REF: http://www.rangerup.com/douche.html

The ref is a little rough around the edges but apropos.

Hank’s a bit retard, my last might be considered an unintentional foul after reading your linking policy, just those guys regularly track both the heroes and the jackasses and are always on the lookout for new candidates.

You are fine, Hank! Just fine! That linking policy is for the spammers who leave a billion links and no content! I am not worried at all with your comments!

    Ok, Claire
Thanks for the laugh today. Maybe Cher was trying to make a joke (I know she wasn’t but it was such a silly comment….and she is a RICH singer/comedian/actress/ “expert on life”). And yes, I am a born-again Christian, NOT rich, minority (woman) Republican and proud of it:)
As for our President’s spirit–at times I see good there; but at other times I see arrogance, a lack of charity towards “certain” others, elitism, untruthfulness/double standards…Is that the type of spirit she was referring to as a positive one?

Sorry, comments for this entry are closed at this time.
