Well, my husband’s cartoon is really picking up and so I have been giving a lot of attention to his blog’s needs.
I put his cartoons in a featured gallery on his new homepage. I am still working on the template and tweaking it to where we both really like it. I got the guts of it up and running. So far, so good!
Stop by DBS today and let Damon know what you think about the new site. The archives still need some tweaking, but I think it will be great when I get the look finished. Damon will also be getting his own domain name very soon! Yeah!
Also, be on the lookout for an announcement about the new Christian Military Wives site that I am currently designing. It should also be up and fully functional by the end of this week or early next. Woot!
What am I getting for all of this hard work? A lot of experience, the satisfaction of helping my husband and helping some very good friends, and a new pair of computer/reading glasses because my eyes are now officially shot!
Have a great Wednesday. It’s snowing here and I am making a huge pot of homemade re-fried beans for burritos tonight.
Ciao! I’ll be back later today.
By the way… the Curly Headed Pirate announced to me last night that she has been using her sand castle bucket in the bathtub and that was just wrong. She put her sand castle bucket in the kitchen and proceeded to inform me that we ARE going to the beach soon, so she would just leave the bucket near the stove so I would not forget it. After playing in the snow this morning, she just reminded me that we need to pack for the beach.
I love the way this girl thinks. Anyone else up for a beach retreat? I’ll make the daquiris!

I guess I had better start saving my nickles and dimes for that beach trip …

Well, now you’ve got a new jarhead fan that’s been bouncing around and trying to adapt to the new navigation. I think I’ve got things sorted out now. Say hola to Damon for me and as far as beaches you ought to join us in Panama (our second home) for one of our trips.

I would say you could come down here (which you could) however, it’s going to be in the 20′s tonight. Brrrr *cry* GO AWAY cold air!
The Pirate sounds very much like my kind of girl!

Congrats on the DBS re-do and to hubby’s increased following!
Sorry to hear your eyes are overworked, but very glad to read about your wonderful projects.
The Pirate’s beach idea would be a wonderful break from this COLD! Enough already, hurry spring.
