Hey, hey, ho, ho, Bush Ok, Obama No!
Ah, when it comes to standing on principles “peace activists” don’t seem to have a leg under them. Proof positive that their stupid, moronic and troop bashing efforts have never been against war — it was simply against the Republican President.Ā They are not concerned with peace — not at all. They have a political agenda, like all other hippy movements, and they have used the cause of war torn countries, and war worn soldiers as a personal soap box to spout their message about… about… well, who knows? They said it was about peace, but it’s obvious it wasn’t. Liars.
Many Recruiters across the Country had to clean up their offices after last year’s war in Iraq anniversary. Some reported feces thrown at their buildings, and graffiti calling them baby killers and murderers was also reported. The Marines in Berkeley were treated with disdain, and treated like crap by Code Pink worthless whackos.
This year, though, I guess since Obama is President, the “peace” activists don’t see the need to break the law, vandalize personal property, insult honorable men and act like infantile jackasses. It’s a miracle. Maybe Obama will give us all Unicorns after all.
Bush is OK to protest, Obama is not, war in Iraq
āPeaceā Activists Not Sure How to Protest Obama

Excerpt
Peace activists are liars. That is the lesson we learn from the Vallejo Times-Herald in the Napa area of California thanks to the hypocritical actions of āpeaceā activist Patricia Kneisler.
You see, Kneisler has decided to abandon her annual āpeaceā vigil in Benicia, California. Why would she do that? After all, we are still in Iraq. Not only that but we are about to ramp up actions in Afghanistan if the president can be believed. Why dump the āpeaceā vigil now since āpeaceā still hasnāt been achieved?
Letās let our hippie friend tell us why:
āPeople are really conflicted now,ā Kneisler said, explaining how many of the demonstrators felt they should not be protesting the war while Obama established his administration.
So, letās get this straight⦠Bush is OK to protest, Obama is not? Even though the situation has not changed much at all? Why is that, anyway?
At this point Obama is not pulling out of Iraq any faster than the Bush administration had announced plans for doing and he continues to insist that he wants to engage more heavily in Afghanistan. Further, his Afghanistan policy has been one of upping the ante since the presidential campaign. There has been no hint that Obama is going to institute the precipitous retreat that these self-proclaimed peace activists wanted. So, on the face of it, Obama is not bringing āpeaceā on their terms. Yet, they still wonāt protest him? READ MORE
This is only semi-related, but I just had to post it. It’s one of my all time favorite videos at YouTube.com. Basically an Iraqi gentleman asks a simple question and a peace activist can’t answer it. She can’t answer it at all, and it is a good demonstration of what happens when people push for peace, but forget that we live in a real world.
