I gotta leave, I gotta go.  Living state side just ain’t my style, goin to Iraq in a little while.

Yup, it’s official folks, I will be deploying back to Iraq in August.  It’s happening, and surprisingly it’s nothing to me.  The only part that bothers me, is having to leave my wife behind for a year.

Iraq, been there, done that, got the t-shirt, wore it to a party, and threw it away.  I suppose this is how it feels to be a combat vet, they tell you that you’re going back and “quite frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.”  I’ll write more as soon as I get back from this NTC rotation, and soon after I’ll have blog fodder galore.
