Asshats Murder War Hero’s Dog
This morning my heart was being ripped out by Glenn Beck when I heard on the radio that American Hero and Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell’s just had his dog murdered. I can hardly express my rage. Marcus Luttrell is the surviving member of Navy SEAL Team 10. His dog, DASY, was named for the four members of his team involved in Operation Redwing, of which Marcus was the lone survivor.
Danny- Navy Cross recipient Gunners Mate Second Class Danny Dietz, KIA
Axe – Navy Cross recipient Sonar Tech Second Class Matt Axelson, KIA
Southern Boy – Navy Cross recipient Hospital Corpsman Second Class Marcus Luttrell
Yankee – Medal of Honor recipient Lieutenant Michael Murphy Medal, KIA
Originally there were four asshats involved in the shooting his dog. There was a reported string of previous dog shootings that they may have been involved in. Participating in random acts of killing people would at the very least be considered conspiracy for murder. Since we’re talking about a dog, unfortunately two of the asshats were able to walk. Maybe they’ll still have a day in court, I hope they have more than a day or two behind bars.
Dogs may not be people but try to tell that to my wife and kids, we have two that are as much a part of our family as me. As I write this, one of the Asshats is sitting in jail and one, who was missing this morning, has now turned himself in and was released on bail. The two named asshats in reports are Alfonso Hernandez and Michael Edmonds. I sincerely hope that these low lifes get everything that is coming to them. If I find out the names of the other two pukes I’ll update the post.
Do a quick search on cruelty to animals and sociopaths and you’ll quickly discover that there’s often a clear link to criminals that go on to commit more heinous crimes.

This is so sad. Why would anyone do this?!

As sad as this is, I’m glad Luttrell was somehow able to keep his composure and refrain from giving these four scumbags what they deserved. I’m not sure I could have managed that.

Pro-abortionists murder babies. All. The. Time. And for little or no reason. Does it suprise anyone that kids are now getting their kicks out of murdering animals? They do what we teach them as well as what we let them. Oh, and yes, there is a clear link between sociopathic behavior and animal cruelty. Not all involved in animal cruelty become sociopaths but all sociopaths are cruel to animals.
Ya know, those boys sure do have pretty faces. I’d be a real shame if somethin was to happen to ‘em.

Hank, this story is so incredibly disturbing and heart wrenching on so many levels. The mere heinous act that these criminals were doing is disgusting beyond belief, but for them to have hit the dog of Marcus Luttrell is just beyond belief.
Here we have a man who has given his all to serve our Country. He has lived through things that very few can say they have survived, and he is home now where he (above others) deserves some peace and rest. Then we have this band of sociopathic scumbags who give nothing to society… who only give misery and grief to people who have done nothing to them, taking the life of the dog that is named after valiant and heroic men.
It boggles the mind. It enrages my spirit. It grieves my soul. I am praying for justice for the dog killing scum bag, criminals and I pray for peace for Marcus Luttrell. I pray that Luttrell is offered a court system that is eager to protect and defend a man who protected and defended his Country.

Nothing I can add to all the sentiments given here already. My heart hurts, and I pray for Marcus, always the hero. I pray for Dasy, who, thanks to my faith, I KNOW is running the hills of Heaven.
As I wrote to someone else earlier: I would like 5 minutes with these POS. No, I wouldn’t be physically violent, but they WOULD remember the lesson learned.
God surely weeps at what we humans do.

Damon cogent and deeply persceptive point our society will reap what it sows. An indictment and we suffer the consequences.
Claire, you always manage to capture my feelings.
Today as I was driving in to work I was listening to Glenn Beck on the radio. He played the 911 call that Marcus made during his pursuit. I’m glad that Glenn made it a personal crusade to bring media attention to this matter. I haven’t read Marcus Luttrell’s book “Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10.” I will. I have gone out on the internet and looked at several of his interviews, we should keep Marcus in our prayers.

Hank,
I read that book last year. Loved it. I can loan you my copy if you want.
