Knee Deep in the Hooah!

As everybody must know by now, we lost eight US soldiers this last weekend in a fierce fight in Nuristan, Afghanistan. You can find the BBC report on that here. Not only are eight families now Gold Star Families, and I will have more on them later, I promise, but 56 soldiers also lost all their belongings.

Needless to say, there are many military supporters who are now collecting donations to replace the tangible items for these heroes. I am sure Soldiers’ Angels is already on the job. (www.soldiersangels.org)
