Knee Deep in the Hooah!

I heard the following quote in a lecture I was blessed to attend yesterday .

I am not in a deep time of grief necessarily, all is well with my soldiers as far as I know. All I know is I am amply worn out and ready for a serious break this Holiday season. I will be going very soon to see my youngest graduate from BCT. We will get to spend a couple of days together and then he is off to his AIT destination (up near Hank’s neck of the woods…)

Anyway, I’m here. I’m not dead or even close. Sorry I have been so absent, but right now all I have to offer is an empty blog — at least a little empty on my part. I know that Hank and Brat are very busy and post here and there as they can. Please don’t give up on us. I think that KDIH is in a metamorphosis stage — who knows what beautiful thing will emerge, but I have faith that it will.
