Digression is the Better Part of Valor?

Obama is now saying that he didn’t say what he said the way he meant to say what he said — or some sort of convoluted political mumbo-jumbo. I wonder what would happen if we ever heard an elite politician say the following words: “I am sorry. I was wrong. I am responsible for my words. There is no excuse.” I tell you what would happen… there would be an ice skating rink “Grand Opening” smack dab in the middle of the deepest level of hell. In the meantime here’s a motivational poster we came up with to help the rest of us schmucks understand why we never hear those words coming out of the mouths of politicians.

Versus?

This is the newest of Mr. Hooah!’s cartoons. It was inspired by the “We love death” post.

If any of you would like to add the cartoons to your site, please feel free to swipe them (please no hot linking though). The only thing we ask is that with the post of the cartoon you link back to the original post. Thanks.

Political Cartoon

The last post regarding the “failure of the surge” inspired Mr. Hooah! to play around with a new toy I bought his this past weekend. He got a new Wacom Bamboo Fun electronic drawing tablet. He used GIMP and this morning he doodled the cartoon above on his new programs. So, what do you think?

He has some new ideas he is going to work on. We are both hopeful that with upgraded equipment, time, research and training that we will be able to start an Internet business offering custom graphics, logos, and web design. Bryan is aiming to serve in the Reserves so we can settle here. If he does ever get deployed this would be a business that we could keep going for a period of time without him having to be right here.

We’ll see what God allows.
