Apparently the person in question (the idiot who claims to be an artist that is) has recanted and is now saying it was all one big hoax. Hahaha! NO! I don’t really know if I believe the confession or not. I would like for an independent Obstetrician to view her footage and give his/her opinion on what is actually happening. Either way this person is so sick and disgusting that she is not even jackass award worthy. I save that award for people who do or say things that are outlandish or stupid, this folks, is disgusting and amoral. There is nothing to laugh at here. I will try and keep you posted by updating this thread if anything new develops.

Go to Malkin’s to read furth information.

Found at Michelle Malkin’s:

It sounds like the sickest kind of Onion parody and perhaps part of it will turn out to be fabrication, but there’s no question that Yale art student Aliza Shvarts is a budding left-wing agent provocateur in the grand tradition of piss-peddling, NEA-funded radical Jose Serrano and chocolate-smearing, NEA-sponsored moonbat performer Karen Finley.

The Yale Daily News has the scoop–and assuming it’s not a belated April Fools’ joke, prepare for some significant donor backlash:

Art major Aliza Shvarts ‘08 wants to make a statement.

Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself “as often as possible” while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process.

The goal in creating the art exhibition, Shvarts said, was to spark conversation and debate on the relationship between art and the human body. But her project has already provoked more than just debate, inciting, for instance, outcry at a forum for fellow senior art majors held last week. And when told about Shvarts’ project, students on both ends of the abortion debate have expressed shock . saying the project does everything from violate moral code to trivialize abortion.

But Shvarts insists her concept was not designed for “shock value.”

“I hope it inspires some sort of discourse,” Shvarts said. “Sure, some people will be upset with the message and will not agree with it, but it’s not the intention of the piece to scandalize anyone.”

This is beyond insane. and I find it quite telling that she is not concerned about the physical consequences of having multiple abortions. In the past decade there have been reputable medical journals that have concluded that first time pregnancies that end in abortion or miscarriage can increase a woman’s risk for developing breast cancer. The more abortions or interrupted pregnancies the higher the risk. What does she care? I mean she’s just doing an art project, right?

If this doesn’t provide more ammunition that NEA is out of touch and off of their rocker then I don’t know what will. Personally, I am tired of seeing my tax dollars wasted on trash and smut with not an ounce of intellectual or moral value. Sorry… this goes beyond that… this is trash and smut drowning in innocent blood.
