Get your very own Taliban Butt Kicking Boxers!

I know the title may have you thinking that Hank put up an extra post this week. Sorry to disappoint you, but I had to mention this story from Tuesday. I do not read the NY Times, so I completely missed out on this. Maybe you have seen it already. It’s great.

The Dallas Ft. Worth online paper tells a story of a young soldier in Afghanistan who woke up to an ambush. He had time enough to throw on essential equipment — helmet, protective gear, gun. However, non essential equipment like pants and boots, he did not have time to grab. The young soldier fought the Taliban in a pair of pink boxers donning the words “I *heart* NY” on them.

The young man warned his parents that the picture would be in the paper. The soldier was a good sport and it brought a good chuckle from his very proud father.
